Vallejo Kids on Course Golf Club

The primary purpose of the Vallejo Kids on Course Golf Club is to promote and encourage a recreational activity for juniors through the game of golf, and to provide learning facilities that promote sound values and principles for all aspects of life. The program curriculum focuses on life skills and values, golf skills, etiquette, pace of play, and rules of golf.


This program is designed in association with the NCGA Foundation to give the youth of Northern California access to participating golf courses at $5 or less. It also enables kids to receive NCGA membership ( includes handicap service and NCGA Golf magazine ).

Each junior member is eligible for reduced rates of only $5 at Blue Rock Springs East and West courses any day after 11:30am. Membership provides each junior with access to monthly tournaments and clinics. This program has huge benefits for kids and grows the game of golf.



Who we are:

Mission statement:

The goal of the junior golf program is to develop the skills needed to play and enjoy the game of golf. The program will emphasize sound values and principles that will carry over into all aspects of life. Blue Rock Springs mission is to promote the game of golf to all juniors, and be recognized as a leader in junior golf activities.


Membership includes:

·         Education on Life-skills; Courtesy, Responsibility, Decision making, Positive attitude, Sportsmanship and Honesty

·         Discounts on range balls, and playing fees

·         NCGA handicap

·         Free Clinics, camps and play days


Getting started is as easy as 1,2,3.

  1. Complete KOC application form. (Form is available online, in the pro shop and driving range)
  2. Make a payment of an annual membership fee, $40 per child by cash, check or Visa/Master card, in person or by mail.
  3. RSVP for camps, clinics and play-dates start 1month prior to the date and close 5 days prior to the date of the event. Sign up sheet available only at driving range.
  4. Call the 707-553-2125 (Driving range) or 707-643-8476 (Pro Shop) for more information.

February 8th              Full Swing Clinic / Life Skill Lesson: Responsibility

March 1st                    Full Swing Clinic / Life Skill Lesson: Honesty

March 15th                  Putting Clinic / Life Skill Lesson: Courtesy

April 12th                  Putting Clinic / Life Skill Lesson: Sportsmanship

May 1st     Summer Camps SIGN-UP STARTS!

Play dates:  WEDNESDAYS (RSVP at driving range with KOC Member card)

We are meeting by the Pro Shop: check-in @ 11:00am, First Tee Time @ 12:00pm. 


June 25th                    5-clubs Stroke Play / Life skill review on Courtesy

                                    Select five clubs to play your nine hole round


July 9th                                          Stroke Play / Life Skill Review on Responsibility

A competitor plays the stipulated round with their own ball


July 16th                   Stableford Competition/ Life Skill Review on Decision Making

Points are awarded in relation to par for each hole.


July 23rd                    Scramble/ Life Skill Review on Honesty and Sportsmanship

Everybody in the group plays from a selected location until the ball is holed.      


July 30th                    Four Ball Stroke Play/ Life Skill Review on Positive Attitude     

Two player team event, each player plays their own ball.  The best score of the team will count as the team score.


Other Events to look in to:


April 17th      JGANC Loudon/Brophy Golf Tournament (Tee times starting at 9am)

This Tournament is open to JGANC members and some local non-members. Entry fee is $40 for the member and $55 for non-members. JGANC members must register online at Non-member must register through the Tournament Director at the course.  Entry Deadline is One week prior.


August 6th      Vallejo City Junior Stroke Play 9 holes Championship

(Tee times starting at 11am)

Open to the Public. Any junior golfers who are in ages between 7 and 17 years old who can play 9 holes can sign up. Entry fee is free to the KOC members and $20 to non-member. Please sign-up by filling out an entry form in the Pro shop. Entry deadline is 5 days prior.


Sept. 20th      JGANC Joe Mortara Tour Championship (Tee times starting at 11am)

Joe Mortara Tour Championship is open to JGANC members only. All participants must register online at Entry Deadline is One week prior. 




Golf Camps for Club Members

Junior Lesson sign-up starts on May 1st and continues until classes are full.
Junior Lesson Classes will be scheduled for July and August.
